Very clean issue, except the spine is weak. This issue is very significant for the first appearance of Galactus and the Silver Surfer, two of the most stirring secondary figures of the Marvel Silver Age. This book was originally listed at a higher price.
I confirmed that they are, but in holding it up to the window, to let the light hit the spine fold, I found that the spine is weaker than I originally noticed. So it is re-listed at a lower price. There are two photos showing the spine condition. Use the pictures as your guide. Images include front and back covers, center spread and random interior pages. I can send more pix if needed. I grade this a G because the body is easily a VG, but that is diminished by the two spine tears (one of which is 2 inches, ending right at the top of the staple).
Note to shoppers: I dont grade on a decimal scale because, after a certain point, grading becomes an arbitrary call between perceived shades of quality, and trying to be too precise can lead to disillusion and argument. I use G, VG, F+ etc because they have a broader feeling, and for that follow the generally agreed-upon Overstreet grading guidelines. If there's doubt I pick the lower grade.
